The Moving On Of Friendship
1
Jan

Memories are nothing,
but broken yesterdays;
Much like my soul,
now that you have gone away.

The moving on of friendship,
is really hard to do;
Especially since the one,
who’s moving on is you.

My mind’s stuck in the past,
just like an old photograph;
Time’s moving on without me now,
just like you,
I’ve lost your face in the crowd;
I wish you hadn’t gone away,
then my life would still be the same,
but,

The moving on of friendship,
is really hard to do;
Especially since the one,
who’s moving on is you.
